I believe in signs. I ask for them. I think I got one today.

I think about the novel I wrote all the time. Is it any good? Is it going to be published? Will anybody like the plot? And, about a million more questions. I think a lot when I walk. One of my favorite walking and thinking places is an old cemetery by my house.

I have a fascination with cemeteries, ghosts and other super-natural things, and the plot of the novel comes from that. In the novel, my main character, Paige, dreams about a girl, Sarah, who died 100 years ago. In one scene Paige finds Sarah's grave on the 100th anniversary of her death.

Look at the head stone above. I found it on my walk today, April 4 (of course I was thinking about the novel). Notice the name and date of death? OK, so it's not 100 years, but pretty freaky anyway, no?

I believe in signs. I believe this is a good omen.
